I have been a Professional Counselor for more than 28 years. I enjoy my work very much!
I received my MA in Counseling Psychology in 1992.
I am a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (License #MH3339), a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor (License # LPC009394), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC #37381).
I provide counseling to a broad spectrum of clients; including, but not limited to, issues of; grief and bereavement, couples counseling, family counseling, girl empowerment (making healthy choices), conflict resolution, transitional life issues, work issues, depression, anxiety, blending step-families, stress management, trauma resolution, and more.
I have years of experience working with the special issues of military families. She also counsel the deaf and hearing impaired population.
I have been using counseling deaf people with sign language since 1981.
My practice is open to all regardless of religious affiliation, race, ethnicity or disability. I offer conventional or Christian counseling in a supportive, respectful environment.
I tailor my therapeutic approach, according to your own personal needs, with complementary methodologies and techniques. I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist, who uses a variety of modalities. I provide solution-oriented therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I provide support and practical feedback to help you effectively address personal life challenges.
With professionally objective, compassion and understanding, I will work with you, as an individual, to help you to work through your individual challenges, develop more coping tools and to build on your personal strengths. We will work together to ascertain and develop the best treatment plan for your individual needs.
